Multipurpose Vegetable Washer FT-112A


FoodTec has designed a Multipurpose Vegetable Washer suitable for trimmed root vegetables such as potatoes, luffas, and cherry tomatoes, as well as continuous washing of lettuce varieties like butterhead, romaine, oak leaf, loose-leaf lettuce, and hydroponic greenhouse vegetables. This washing system have five major functions, including initial wash, precision wash, chilling, air-knife, and UV light in sequential washing steps, providing a comprehensive and continuous washing solution for fruits and vegetables. Can be customized according to customer requirements. The process can also be combined with steam hot water blanching, ambient temperature water soaking for product cooling, and ice water chilling treatments. Use high-density spray nozzles for washing, ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards. Sink is equipped with a foreign object diversion net; remove suspended particles easily. With a movable safety cover to recycle the washing water, preventing splashing that could let wet floors. Also, avoid cross-infection by preventing personnel contact with the products. A water collection tray is placed beneath the conveyor belt, to collect water and prevent fruits and vegetables from falling onto the floor, maintain the clean off the floor. Can install cooling coil to keep product fresh and extend shelf life. Can add sterilizers or preservatives to the sink to preserve and sterilize the surface of the product, then rinse with clean water.
The washing time, conveyor speed, and the intensity of the spray from the nozzles are adjusted according to different types of products. Four air-knives are positioned at the conveyor belt's exit, to remove residual matter from the surface. The intensity of the air-knives can be adjusted. At the end of the machine, installed four UV light, applying efficient, less costly, safer, and residue-free sterilization technology to kill bacteria on the product’s surface, thereby extending the product's shelf life and nutritional value. Use water recycling system in the machine, reduce water consumption. The entire machine is treated with stainless steel electrolysis. This washer can combine with automatic feeding equipment for automated washing processes.
